Joint Labs

Joint labs are long-term multi-project academic-industry research collaborations between the Institute and an industry or public agency partner. The long-term relationship will enable the joint development of deep capabilities and talents in data science and AI, nurture local talents that the industries and public agencies can harness in future, and fully leverage the latest R&D advancements in the academia to co-develop solutions for real-world problems relevant to the joint-lab partners.

The joint lab is also an excellent platform for industry and academic institutions to work together to provide realistic learning opportunities for students. Students, researchers, and faculty members will be able to work off real-life data from the industry, and hone their data analytic skills while addressing research questions that have been jointly developed by the industry and NUS.
